Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Functional Lead with 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP MM and related modules. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP Goods Issue and Goods Receipt SAP Goods Physical Inventory SAP MM-Special Procurements SAP Indirect Procurement SAP Direct Procurement SAP Inventory Management and SAP Purchasing. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Lead with 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP MM and related modules. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP Goods Issue and Goods Receipt SAP Goods Physical Inventory SAP MM-Special Procurements SAP Indirect Procurement SAP Direct Procurement SAP Inventory Management and SAP Purchasing. The role is hybrid with day shifts and does not require travel.
Responsibilities- Lead the implementation and support of SAP MM modules ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
- Oversee the configuration and customization of SAP Goods Issue and Goods Receipt processes to meet business requirements.
- Provide expertise in SAP Goods Physical Inventory to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage SAP MM-Special Procurements ensuring efficient handling of special procurement processes.
- Facilitate SAP Indirect Procurement processes to optimize procurement activities and reduce costs.
- Drive SAP Direct Procurement initiatives to streamline procurement operations and improve supplier relationships.
- Ensure effective SAP Inventory Management to maintain optimal inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
- Oversee SAP Purchasing processes to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of SAP MM processes with overall business objectives.
- Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of SAP MM functionalities.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation of SAP MM modules.
- Develop and maintain documentation for SAP MM processes and configurations.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP MM trends and best practices to continuously improve system performance and user experience.
- Possess a strong background in SAP Goods Issue and Goods Receipt SAP Goods Physical Inventory and SAP MM-Special Procurements.
- Demonstrate expertise in SAP Indirect Procurement SAP Direct Procurement SAP Inventory Management and SAP Purchasing.
- Have domain experience in Procurement (Tech) and Hi-Tech industries.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Show proficiency in training and supporting end-users in SAP MM functionalities.
- Display strong documentation skills for maintaining SAP MM processes and configurations.
- Stay informed about the latest SAP MM trends and best practices.
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000.00 - $112,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
