Our practice is looking for a highly qualified Sr. Java FSE Lead (Java/Spring boot/Angular)
Job Summary:
The Sr. Java FSE Lead will partner with other developers, architects and technology decision-makers to guide overall direction of the user interface layer of the site and will work closely with Technical Leads, Application Architects, Software Developers and Management in a highly collaborative environment.
The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering to strategic business vision, enterprise level architecture strategies, and developing innovative enterprise IT enablement practices that build business value.
Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorised to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)
Job Location: Dallas Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid - 3 days Onsite, 2 Remote).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Able to play a Java Full Stack Engineer role - Lead Developer - Java FSE
- Participant in all the project key partner meetings to understand the business requirements.
- As an individual contributor able to complete the assigned user stories in a given sprint.
- Capable enough to craft the modules individually.
- Should participate in all the Agile ceremonies and perform all the sprint level activities.
- Should be responsible for the end to end delivery of the assigned user stories/feature (development to deployment) and able to resolve the team's technical issues.
- Should have good communication skills in commuting between offshore and onsite customer partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum - 10 years exp
- Proficiency in Java Development
- At least 5 years recent experience working as a Lead on multiple projects.
- Proficiency and proven experience in the following technologies:
- J2EE technologies: Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, EJB
- Frameworks: Spring Boot
- Front-end: Angular
- Build/deployment tools: Maven, Gradel, Git, Junit, Mockito, CI/CD
- Other Dev Ops Toolchain: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure Devops.
