The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $82K-$90K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Role And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models to solve real-word problems, ensuring high performance and accuracy
- Implement state-of-the-art AI and ML algorithms, frameworks, and techniques in real-world applications
- Clean, preprocess, and transform data to ensure it is ready for analysis and model training
- Work closely with product specialists, software engineers, and product teams to deliver AI/ML solutions that meet business needs
- Assess and fine-tune model performance through metrics evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and continuous improvement
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
- Integrate AI/ML models into server environments, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies, contributing to research and new methodologies
- Monitor and analyze model performance in server environments, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed
- Acutely engage in professional development and continuous learning to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge
- Proven experience in AI/ML model development, preferably in a professional or research capacity
- Excellent communication skills; ability to explain difficult concepts in layman’s terms
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Healthcare domain experience preferred
