Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, VMware administration and Windows administration; and will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
Roles & Responsibilities

The annual salary for this position is between $ 41,000 - $ 123,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, VMware administration and Windows administration; and will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's infrastructure using Terraform Ansible Python CI/CD understanding Bash and PowerShell.
- Oversee VMware administration to ensure optimal performance and reliability of virtual environments.
- Administer Windows servers and ensure their smooth operation and security.
- Implement and manage automation scripts to streamline infrastructure processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
- Offer technical support and mentorship to team members and collaborators.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standard methodologies in all infrastructure activities.
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes and configurations.
- Participate in capacity planning and resource allocation to meet business needs.
- Conduct regular system audits and implement necessary updates and patches.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure management practices.
- 4 to 8 years of experience.
- Strong experience in Terraform Ansible and PowerShell for infrastructure management.
- Proficient in VMware administration and standard processes.
- Proficiency in Windows administration and related security protocols.
- Excellent fixing and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work closely in a hybrid work model.
- Effective interpersonal skills for interacting well with team members and partners.
- Proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.
- Certifications Required: Certified Terraform Associate
