Responsibilities
The annual salary for this position is between $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting business requirements through interviews, observations, and document analysis.
- Translate user needs into detailed business and functional requirements for technical teams.
- Document existing business and operational processes
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest opportunities for automation or streamlining.
- Assist in creating test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in system testing (including UAT – User Acceptance Testing) to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Document test results and support troubleshooting of identified issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, IT, customer service, and compliance.
- Assist in preparing business cases, presentations, and stakeholder reports.
- Support data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with an interest in software/system testing.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to tools like Power BI, Tableau, Python or SQL is a plus.
- Interest in the energy industry, utility operations, and sustainable practices.
- Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)
