Job Summary
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified UX designer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.
Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliability, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our engineers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we’re doing wrong, so we can fix it, and what we’re doing right, so we can improve on it. Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers.
Location : Atlanta, GA, Hybrid 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with product management, engineering and other designers to help define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, experience, and visuals.
- Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity to complex design requirements.
- Documenting the user experience through mockups, design specs, and prototype demos.
- Partner with the Product Team members to ideate on product direction and new feature sets.
- Work with Product Management to translate UX solutions into user stories.
- Creating and communicating design guidelines, patterns, and libraries.
- Presenting design solutions to internal teams and business stakeholders.
- Executing UX and visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Creating wireframes, user flows / journeys, and site maps that communicate interaction design concepts.
- Aid in user research studies / evaluation.
