Looking for a data engineer with knowledge on Pyspark AWS services and SQL
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
The annual salary for this position is between 110,000 – $ 125,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

- Design and implement scalable high-performance data processing pipelines using Python Amazon Redshift and Apache Spark.
- Manage AWS resources effectively ensuring security and efficiency through AWS IAM Amazon S3 and AWS Glue ETL.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes enhancing system performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain robust ETL processes integrating AWS Glue ETL for seamless data transformation and loading.
- Ensure data integrity and quality implementing best practices in data management and processing.
- Participate in the entire Product Lifecycle Management contributing to the development deployment and maintenance of products.
- Stay abreast of the latest AWS features and services incorporating them into solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Implement risk management strategies safeguarding data and systems against potential threats.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development and deployment processes embracing AWS DevOps principles.
