Job title: Desktop Support
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 6 to 10 years of experience in Service Desk and Desktop Support - Remote. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medicare and Medicaid Claims. This hybrid role requires day shifts and may involve travel. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless IT support and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the service desk team to provide exceptional remote desktop support.
- Oversee the resolution of technical issues related to Medicare and Medicaid Claims.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT support processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance service desk efficiency.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators for the service desk.
- Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on the latest technologies.
- Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of complex technical issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware and software support.
- Participate in project planning and execution to ensure IT readiness.
- Maintain documentation of support processes and procedures.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Must have extensive experience in Service Desk and Desktop Support
- Remote.
- Should possess in-depth knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid Claims.
- Must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
- Should be willing to travel as required.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The base annual salary for this position is between $37,804 to $86,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
