- Work closely with clients intermediaries and internal Cognizant authorities to build high impact solutions
- Define solution vision and direction building on commonalities and benefits across lines of business and technologies
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and other AWS services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS Code Pipeline.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve their development and deployment workflows.
- Participate in on-call rotations for production support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team
- Highly experienced DevOps Lead with 12 years of experience with legacy modernization or digital transformations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in AWS cloud environments.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS Code Pipeline.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, and security groups.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
