ETL Abinitio Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly authoritative Sr. Architect with 12 to 16 years of experience in Ab Initio and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Property & Casualty Insurance and will be responsible for designing and implementing data integration solutions. This hybrid role requires expertise in ETL SQL and Unix Shell Scripting with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions using Ab Initio and related technologies.
• Supervise the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Ab Initio GDE Conduct>It and Co>Operating System.
• Collaborate with partners to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the efficient use of Ab Initio Metadata Hub for data governance and management.
• Apply PL/SQL and SQL for database management and data manipulation tasks.
• Implement and lead external schedulers to automate ETL processes and workflows.
• Apply data warehousing concepts to design robust and scalable data architectures.
• Develop and maintain Unix Shell Scripts for automation and process optimization.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes to enhance system performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in data integration and management.
• Monitor and solve data integration processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems.

Qualifications

• Possess a validated ability in Ab Initio and related technologies.
• Demonstrate expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Have strong knowledge of ETL SQL and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Show proficiency in Ab Initio GDE Conduct>It and Co>Operating System.
• Exhibit experience with Ab Initio Metadata Hub and external schedulers.
• Understand data warehousing concepts and scheduling basics.
• Display excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
• Work efficiently in a hybrid work model with a day shift schedule.
• Ensure high-quality work and consistency to project timelines.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Give to the companys purpose and impact on society through innovative data solutions.

Certifications Required

Good to have Certified Ab Initio Developer Certified Data Integration Professional

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $ 150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
