Infra Ops Specialist- Remote

Job Description

We are seeking a lead experienced team player with extensive expertise in Oracle, SQL Server to drive high-impact enterprise programs. With 15 years of experience, overseeing the implementation, migration, integration, and optimization of database and systems such as Oracle Exadata, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate must has a proven track record of delivering scalable, sustainable technology solutions while ensuring business alignment, risk management, and seamless stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage large-scale Oracle Exadata and ERP programs, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
• Direct Oracle Exadata database migrations, ERP implementations, and cloud adoption initiatives while minimizing operational risks.
• Develop and execute program roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DBAs, developers, IT architects) to streamline integrations and optimize database performance.
• Drive agile transformation by implementing methodologies, boosting efficiency, and enhancing product quality.
• Lead enterprise-wide automation projects, leveraging Ansible, Power Automate, and Oracle GoldenGate to improve operational efficiency.
• Spearhead database security and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Manage and mentor global teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and growth.
• Engage with executive stakeholders and leaders, providing strategic insights, risk assessments, and program performance updates.
• Optimize vendor and partner management, ensuring seamless integration of third-party solutions with enterprise infrastructure.

Salary And Other Compensation

• The annual salary for this position is [$88,200 to $139,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
• This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
