This role involves working in a hybrid model with a day shift schedule. The candidate will contribute to our infrastructure projects ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

The annual salary for this position is between $49,000-$107,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Pure Storage flash storage and Veeam. This role involves working in a hybrid model with a day shift schedule. The candidate will contribute to our infrastructure projects ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure Pure Storage FlashBlade systems in customer environments.
- Plan and implement initial storage setup including file systems object stores and network settings.
- Configure networking protocols such as NFS SMB and S3 for optimal performance and connectivity.
- Integrate FlashBlade with applications virtualization platforms or databases.
- Analyse and optimize system performance including tuning storage volumes and workloads.
- Configure QoS (Quality of Service) settings to ensure efficient allocation of storage resources.
- Set up snapshots replication and backup processes to ensure data resilience.
- Implement data reduction technologies (deduplication and compression) to maximize storage efficiency.
- Configure user access controls encryption and audit logs to meet security policies.
- Monitor compliance with corporate and industry storage standards.
- Use Pure1 or other monitoring tools to track the health and performance of the FlashBlade system.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware or software configuration issues.
- Update firmware and software to ensure compatibility and functionality.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of storage configurations policies Generate periodic reports on system performance usage trends and capacity planning.
- Work closely with application database and network teams to ensure FlashBlade meets performance and capacity requirements.
- Provide training to end-users and junior engineers on system management and troubleshooting.
