Job Summary
We are seeking an expert Infra. Architect with demonstrated ability to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical skills in PowerShell and SQL Server DB Administration. This hybrid role requires rotational shifts and offers the opportunity to work on ground breaking infrastructure projects that drive our companys success and positively impact society.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
- Coordinate the administration and maintenance of SQL Server databases to ensure efficient performance and reliability.
- Guide in PowerShell scripting to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standard methodologies to protect company data and systems.
- Monitor system performance and solve issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Stay ahead of with industry trends and new technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship and support to team members and customers.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure issues.
- Chip in to the development of infrastructure standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Possess solid experience in PowerShell scripting for automation and task management.
- Demonstrate expertise in SQL Server DB Administration including performance tuning and backup/recovery.
- Have a solid grasp of network protocols security principles and infrastructure components.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve sophisticated issues.
- Show proficiency in designing and maintaining user documentation.
- Display good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Have experience in implementing and leading disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
- Be able to work in a rotational shift environment to provide 24/7 support.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and addressing infrastructure challenges.
- Possess a strong dedication to maintaining high standards of security and compliance.
- Show the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Have a consistent record of successfully leading infrastructure projects from design to implementation.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[99,000 – 116,000 USD] depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
