Java Full stack Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience in Robot Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for developing innovative solutions. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of software development and testing with a preference for candidates who have experience in the Devices domain. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Robot Java and Selenium.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirement analysis design implementation testing and deployment.
• Develop and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of the software.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
• Work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office work as required.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience in Robot Java and Selenium.
• Should have a solid understanding of software development principles and practices.
• Must be proficient in writing clean maintainable and efficient code.
• Should have experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Nice to have experience in the Devices domain.
• Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Should be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Must be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Should have a passion for learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
• Must have the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $95K to 118K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
