Lead DevOps Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer requirements, project KPIs, and expertise in development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure. This role involves planning team activities, managing stakeholders, setting up tools, and defining DevOps processes.
Responsibilities:

Implement development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.

Plan team activities and manage stakeholders.

Set up necessary tools and infrastructure.

Define DevOps processes.

Review and validate software code.

Troubleshoot and fix code bugs.

Monitor and improve processes.

Deploy cybersecurity measures.

Manage incidents and conduct root cause analysis.

Select and deploy CI/CD tools.

Mentor team members.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,000 – 114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
