Job Summary
The Lead Infrastructure Solution Architect at Cognizant is responsible for providing pre-sales support in the development of solutions incorporating security services and offerings. The Lead Infrastructure Solution Architect will work in conjunction with Sales and Account Executives to architect design propose and help close opportunities with both existing and new clients within the healthcare and life sciences domain.
Responsibilities
- Expertise in Infrastructure hosting solution & pricing
- Expertise in Application hosting solution from Infrastructure perspective. Understanding of Health Care application systems and hosting methodologies.
- An infrastructure architect is a highly technical professional responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the overall technology infrastructure of an organization, including cloud, DC hosting, network systems, servers, storage, and security, by assessing current needs, identifying potential issues, and recommending optimal solutions meeting business objectives
- Design and document detailed technical architecture for Infrastructure projects, Evaluate different infrastructure options to identify cost-effective solutions. Define standards and best practices for infrastructure components to ensure consistency and reliability. Create architectural diagrams and documentation to clearly communicate the infrastructure design.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of new infrastructure with existing systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and data privacy standards
- Ability to lead infrastructure Hybrid cloud proposals, manage teams, and make informed decisions on infrastructure architecture
- Ability to design complex infrastructure systems, considering scalability, performance, security, and cost factors
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, and system administrators
- Healthcare and Lifesciences domain experience will be an added advantage
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $105,750 - $193,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
