Lead .NET Core Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead.NET Core Developer with strong experience in .Net Core Angular and Azure for a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will design and develop high-quality software solutions ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of .Net Core and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Location: Vienna - VA

Responsibilities

· Lead the design and development of software solutions using .Net Core to meet business requirements.

· Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

· Ensure the scalability, performance and security of applications.

· Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

· Develop and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.

· Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

· Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.

· Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to decision-making processes.

Qualifications

· Must have extensive experience in .Net Core development.

· Should have a strong understanding of software architecture principles.

· Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Should have experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

· Must be proficient in code review and quality assurance processes.

· Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.

· Nice to have experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
