Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and skilled Lead React Developer, an individual who lead the design, development, and implementation of complex React Native applications, architect and build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, backend) to define and deliver exceptional user experiences..

Job Location: Atlanta, GA
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex React Native applications.
- Architect and build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, backend) to define and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues effectively.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in React Native, mobile development, and industry best practices.
- Drive technical innovation and explore new technologies to improve our development processes.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools and libraries.
Key Qualifications:
- With 9 years of professional experience in mobile application development using React Native.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6 syntax and advanced concepts.
- Extensive experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, mobile networking, and offline data synchronization.
- Proven experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, Zustand).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices for mobile applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end).
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Passion for building high-quality, user-centric mobile applications.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile release processes.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques for mobile applications.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and other modern data fetching architectures
