Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a pre-sales role within the Data practice, with primary responsibility of bringing innovative end-to-end MDM/CDP solutions that deliver for clients’ unique master data management and customer experience management requirements. This role will work in close collaboration with Cognizant broader Data COEs, Integration COE and Digital COEs to ensure best fit data management, data integration and analytics outcome for our clients embarking on or advancing in their digital journey.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on Master Data Management (MDM) experience or 3 years in Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
- Experience in the areas of MDM/CDP Strategy, Architecture, Design, Integration, Data Quality and Data Governance
- Ability to clearly communicate technical details to business and management personnel
- Expert knowledge of Master Data Management and/or Customer Data Management, which includes: Creating MDM strategies for clients, with the ability to professionally discuss requirements, priorities, potential solutions, and solution architecture patterns
- Thorough understanding of Data Management best practices such as Data Quality, Match/Merge, Enrichment, Trust & Survivorship, establishing data as a service
- Experience in defining Data Architecture across MDM, EDW, Data Lakes, data lake houses
- Thorough understanding of HUB architecture, Enterprise Integration and SOA
- Experience in designing, configuring and deploying MDM or CDP solutions on leading platform, such as Informatica, Riversand, Reltio, Stibo, TIBCO EBX, Redpoint, Tealium, Segment, Adobe AEP, Salesforce CDP etc.
- Hands on experience in working with tools like, Informatica IICS, MuleSoft, kafka, cloud native tools
- Familiarity or experience with Azure, GCP or AWS cloud data architecture

- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment and leading a large sized team and delivering MDM solutions
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Desire to work in an information systems environment
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
