Location: Austin, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire release process for complex software products, ensuring releases are timely and of high quality.
• Enhance release management processes by analyzing feedback from stakeholders and implementing process optimizations.
• Comprehend business requirements, delve into design, review test strategies and scripts, and facilitate demonstrations.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including CDR, QA, DEV, and GEO teams, to monitor progress and support the team.
• Perform risk assessments, identify potential quality issues, and provide recommendations for mitigation and resolution.
• Continuously assess and improve testing processes, tools, and techniques to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Review and analyze test results, and publish comprehensive reports to all stakeholders.
• Evaluate current business processes to identify automation opportunities and create a detailed automation roadmap.
• Set automation goals, metrics, and success criteria that align with business objectives.
• Select and evaluate appropriate automation tools and technologies based on project needs.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and provide prompt support to end-users and testers.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in release management and automation architecture.
• Strong understanding of automation tools and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and quality assurance.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $ 140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
