Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a skilled SAP Transportation Management Consultant who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Role Summary:
We are seeking an expert Functional Lead with extensive knowledge in SAP TM-Freight Cost Mgmt &Settle, SAP TM-Integration, SAP TM-Analytics, and SAP TM-Transportation Planning. Additionally domain expertise in Health & Safety (EHS) and Production Planning & Control in Industrial Manufacturing is required.
Responsibilities:
- Own the implementation and optimization of SAP TM modules including Freight Cost Management & Settlement Integration Analytics and Transportation Planning.
- Supervise the integration of SAP TM with other SAP modules and external systems to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency.
- Provide expert recommendations on widely accepted methodologies for SAP TM to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements translating them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Develop and complete comprehensive test plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of SAP TM functionalities.
- Monitor and fix system issues providing timely resolutions to minimize disruptions to business operations.
- Conduct training sessions and document to support end-users in effectively applying SAP TM features.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and standards within the SAP TM framework.
- Implement production planning and control processes in industrial manufacturing environments using SAP TM.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize transportation planning and cost management processes.
- Provide regular updates and reports to customers on project progress system performance and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure alignment of SAP TM solutions with overall business objectives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in SAP TM technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Role Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in SAP Transportation Management.
- Familiar with Freight Cost Mgmt&Settle SAP TM-Integration SAP TM-Analytics and SAP TM-Transportation Planning.
- Demonstrate domain expertise in Health & Safety (EHS) and Production Planning & Control in Industrial Manufacturing.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Showcase superb communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with multi-functional teams.
- Display a proactive approach to identifying and addressing system issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Experience delivering training and creating user documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hold a relevant certification in SAP TM or related field.
