The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile practices and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative environment, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement.
Location: Columbus – IN (remote allowed)
Key Responsibilities
The annual salary for this position is between $85,000 - $140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

- Facilitate Scrum events like Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective meetings, ensuring effective team collaboration and progress tracking
- Manage Product Backlog: Ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Coach and mentor teams: Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices, improving team performance and efficiency.
- Remove impediments: Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products
- Improve team performance: Improved team speed and reduced project delivery time through the implementation of Agile practices.
- Lead Agile transformations: Lead company-wide Agile transformations, improving delivery efficiency.
- Implement continuous improvement programs: Implement continuous improvement programs, enhancing team productivity.
- Scrum Master Certificate
