The Role:
Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Java developer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the “team”, drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.

Location: Minneapolis , MN (Hybrid)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Spring Boot, Angular JS, ReactJs and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Implement best practices for software development, including coding standards and testing methodologies.
- Work closely with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical challenges.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
Qualifications:
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our electronic payment systems.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in the electronic payments domain.
- Provide technical support and expertise during production incidents and outages.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Spring Boot, Angular JS, ReactJs and Java.
- 5-7 years of experience

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $68,422K – $131,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
