Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing test plans, managing test cycles, and ensuring the quality of software applications. The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for leading QA efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare test plans, test specifications, test conditions, scripts, and summary reports for multiple applications.
- Report on all testing activities and keep stakeholders updated on the quality of individual components and the overall health of the product range.
- Track requirements with test cases in JIRA and Azure DevOps, executing them to report pass or fail status.
- Assist in the development of test procedures for various stages, including Integration, System, UAT, and UI Testing.
- Perform regular file archival and purging as necessary.
- Investigate user-generated trouble tickets to determine the causes of problems and take appropriate action for resolution.
- Partner with IT and Authoring teams to ensure alignment and readiness for all content releases and testing each release.
- Collect specifications and requirements from development personnel before System Testing.
- Attend defect triage meetings with developers, PMs, QA Managers, and teams to explain problems.
- Complete mobile testing within AWS.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and AWS.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
