Job Title – Site Services Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Service Desk and Desktop Support issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
• Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and networks.
• Monitor system performance and address any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance system functionality.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data.
• Assist in the deployment of new software and hardware.
• Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference.
• Offer remote support to users as needed.
• Conduct regular system audits and generate reports.
• Provide training and support to end-users.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have 6 to 8 years of experience in Service Desk and Desktop Support.
• Should possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must be proficient in English both written and spoken.
• Should have experience with remote support tools and techniques.
• Must be knowledgeable about IT security protocols and best practices.
• Should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  

Salary And Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until March 20, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $37,000 - $68,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
