Responsibilities:
- Provide architecture recommendations for future state of Insurance Administrative Systems specifically for health insurance products like LTC, Medsupp, including Claims and New Business
- Knowledge in retirement of insurance policy administration systems by converting to a single platform.
- Architecture direction for projects to introduce new Insurance products.
- Knowledge of full policy and claim administration on an external provider’s infrastructure by leading technical effort to extract data and provide to an external partner for a reinsurance agreement.
Required Qualifications
Mainframe Skills
- COBOL, z/OS, VSAM, JCL, Panvalet, Endevor, Xpeditor, FileAid and Syncsort.
- Health insurance proven experience
- Niche in LTC (Long Term Care) health insurance business.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for the position is between $89,100– $140,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
