Sr. Business Analyst (Hybrid)
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified business Analyst with experience in Scrum methodologies and Agile project management. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our Analysts have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements to ensure clear understanding by all collaborators.
- Supervise the development and implementation of business solutions in alignment with company goals.
- Provide expertise in Scrum methodologies to guide project teams and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines milestones and resource allocation.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review project progress and address any issues.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
- Utilize data analysis tools to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Support the development of user stories, use cases and test scenarios to validate business requirements.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and business processes.
Qualifications:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration information technology or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in Scrum methodologies and Agile project management.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Have a proven track record of successful project delivery in a business analyst role.
- Display the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- Bring a deep understanding of business processes and technical solutions.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Exhibit the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Have experience with project management software and tools.
Salary and compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $73,350K – $116K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
