Sr. Dot Net FSD w/React.JS (Onsite)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using SQL Server, React JS, SQL, Azure, JavaScript, and .Net Framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs and help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Implement standard methodologies for software development and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
- Document software designs and code to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (8 years) working with SQL Server, React JS, SQL, Azure, JavaScript, and .Net Framework
- Full-stack development experience using .NET, ReactJS, NodeJS, and Docker.
- Optional/Desired experience: SQL Server, Kubernetes, Java, SOLR.
- Experience working with Open-Source systems is a plus.
- Have a solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Show proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Have experience in Investment Banking Operations and Investment Banking & Brokerage (nice to have).
Salary and compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $90K – $141,500K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
