Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer - Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage SDWAN solutions to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Configure and maintain Fortinet firewalls and security appliances to protect network integrity.
- Handle and address concerns with Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Oversee WAN and LAN infrastructure, ensuring flawless connectivity and performance.
- Implement and support wireless network solutions, ensuring robust and secure wireless access.
- Conduct network problem-solving to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Work closely with teams from different areas to support network-related projects and initiatives.
- Monitor network performance and security, implementing improvements as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Solid grasp of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Proven expertise in solving network problems and resolving issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with ITIL v3:2011/ v4 processes (Incident, Change, Problem Mgmt.)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, Fortinet NSE) are a plus.
Qualifications:
8-10 yrs experience with Understanding of Design & Architecture and Extensive experience in SDWAN, Fortinet, Cisco Routing & Switching, WAN/LAN and Wireless
Salary and Other Compensation:

The yearly pay for this position is between $73, 350 – $133,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
