Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kafka Kubernetes JavaScript CSS HTML API Gateway Spring Cloud Spring Boot Spring Integration Java Spring MVC Spring Core Rest API and Spring Framework. Experience in Product Lifecycle Management is essential. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable and robust technology solutions using Kafka Kubernetes and JavaScript.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of web applications using CSS HTML and API Gateway.
- Provide technical guidance and support for Spring Cloud Spring Boot and Spring Integration projects.
- Develop and optimize Java-based applications using Spring MVC Spring Core and Rest API.
- Ensure the integration of various Spring Framework components to deliver seamless solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
- Mentor and guide junior developers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall technical strategy.
- Ensure the security and scalability of applications through effective design and implementation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Must have strong experience in Kafka Kubernetes and JavaScript.
- Must be proficient in CSS HTML and API Gateway.
- Must have hands-on experience with Spring Cloud Spring Boot and Spring Integration.
- Must be skilled in Java Spring MVC Spring Core and Rest API.
- Must have a solid understanding of the Spring Framework.
- Must have domain expertise in Product Lifecycle Management.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 3/8/25.
The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
