Responsibilities

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

• Support thermal engineering team with complexity and BOM management.
• Maintain all component BOM metrics (mass, cost, change level, etc.).
• Interface with Mexico change management team.
• Strong experience with VW change management process.
• Experience with drawing and model release process used by VW Group.
• Work with concept team to maintain up to date CAD, TPB and BOM.
• Able to use Catia V5 proficiently to review drawings and complete the release process.
  
  

Qualifications

You’ll be comfortable with change and flexible in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You’ll take a collaborative approach to achieve ambitious goals. Here’s what else you’ll bring:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or combined electrical/mechanical engineering, systems engineering, or a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in thermal, colling, and/or HVAC and relevant automotive assignments, covering all phases of product development (design, test, and launch).
• Strong technical skills and expertise in automotive systems, employing a six-sigma approach to engineering design and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with computer-aided engineering (CAE) or direct experience in this field.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with individuals at all organizational levels.
