There looking for an experienced Electrical & Automation Engineer to join their Project Implementation Team. This role will primarily focus on our project in Munich, Bavaria, with potential opportunities for involvement in future projects across Germany and Europe.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and automation systems within the ORC power plant, including generators, switchgear, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify potential electrical or automation issues, ensuring system reliability through planned maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to develop and refine maintenance schedules for electrical and automation components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical and automation systems, implementing timely and effective solutions to reduce downtime.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and servicing of electrical equipment while ensuring compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts for electrical and automation systems, coordinating with procurement to ensure critical components are readily available.
- Establish and implement safety protocols for maintenance activities involving electrical and automated systems.
- Provide technical support for system upgrades, expansions, and planned maintenance work.
- Train and mentor maintenance personnel to enhance their expertise in electrical and automation technologies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities, including equipment condition reports, work performed, and recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field (Dipl.-Ing., Master, Bachelor) or equivalent qualifications.
- A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in electrical and automation maintenance, preferably with expertise in ORC technology.
- Proficiency in Siemens Simatic S7 PLCs, distributed control systems (DCS), and electrical protection systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and control loop drawings.
- Familiarity with industry-specific safety standards and regulations in the power generation sector.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Fluency in both German and English (spoken and written).
- Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and external service providers.
- A structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented approach to work, coupled with a strong team spirit.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties for emergency maintenance situations.
- High level of flexibility and willingness to travel (approximately 20%).
