Responsibilities:
- Analysis of Additional Savings Potential: Evaluate opportunities to enhance cost savings and synergies across CAPEX projects.
- Supplier Management: Identify new suppliers, develop relationships with existing ones, and improve supplier evaluations.
- Proposal Development and Presentation: Create supplier proposals considering quality, costs, delivery times, and supplier assessments.
- Tender Creation and Evaluation: Develop inquiry documents and related tenders for effective evaluation and negotiation.
- Offer Negotiation and Presentation: Present results to the sourcing board and management, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Target Achievement: Meet targets for execution, costs, and delivery times.
- Contract Development and Negotiation: Develop, negotiate, and conclude individual and framework contracts.
- Process Improvement: Enhance data quality in existing systems and create user-friendly project presentations.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to departments on qualified requirements, specifications, and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Completed degree in economics or engineering or equivalent commercial/technical training.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in indirect purchasing (CAPEX), preferably in the automotive industry.
- Sound technical understanding of production systems.
- Experience in organizing cross-functional European teams in a matrix organization.
- Expertise in drafting contracts.
- Flexibility, negotiation skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and analytical thinking.
- Presentation skills and high customer orientation.
- Sound MS Office and SAP knowledge.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled purchasing professional to grow with our company.
