Role Overview

As the Vice President of Engineering , you will play a critical leadership role in driving the strategic direction of the organization’s engineering division. You’ll oversee large-scale utility projects, manage high-performing teams, and ensure the seamless delivery of innovative and cost-effective solutions. Key Responsibilities include :

  • Lead and manage the engineering division, setting strategic objectives and aligning them with organizational goals.

  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of large-scale utility projects, ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop and implement engineering standards, processes, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all engineering activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, business development, and client relations, to deliver exceptional results.
  • Build and mentor a team of engineering leaders and professionals, promoting professional development and career growth.
  • Serve as a key liaison with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and requirements.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or related field); Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience : 15 years in the utilities or power industry, including senior leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of utility design, power systems, and NESC compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align engineering initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, CAD software, and engineering technologies.
