Commitments:
- Use your GAAP expertise to ensure the team is following guidelines correctly
- Research GAAP guidelines as needed and propose adjustments to Finance leadership
- Responsible for monthly GAAP financials
- Equity tracking
- M&A
- Revenue
- Allowances
- Lease accounting
- Tax by entity
- Intercompany
- Service Agreement
- Prepare for annual external audit as the "go to person" from the Finance department leading this effort
- Lending covenants
- Assist with M&A Analysis and M&A Implementation
- Assist with policy documentation project and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Required:
- Must have 2 years of experience with GAAP accounting principals
- 3 years of applicable accounting experience
- Highly detail oriented
- Proficient in Outlook and Word, advanced user of Excel
- Reliable and ability to work independently to manage tasks, projects, and deadlines
- Effective and professional communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience with a service based business preferred
- Akron, Cleveland or Youngstown, OH
- Hybrid work environment
