The HUD Service Coordinator provides case management and referral services to residents needing assistance. Your goal is to establish contacts with all agencies and service providers in the community and determine the best options in service pricing to ensure individualized, flexible and creative services for residents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology or Counseling accepted. (5 years of HUD Service Coordinator experience without degree will be considered).
- 2 years of case management or social work experience
- Working knowledge of Federal, State and local laws and requirements related to elderly and disabled programs, as well as non-governmental networks related to geriatric services.
- Must have or be able to obtain Service Coordinator Certification within 12 months of initial hiring (Training and testing will be provided).
- Proven 2 years with Microsoft Office and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology or Counseling is preferable.
- Bilingual - Spanish and English
Compensation* $25 - $27 per hour
- Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
