Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with an experienced attorney to draft and review multiple legal documents daily: motions, pleadings, notices of deposition, discovery shells, subpoenas, settlement statements
- Filing in the e-Filing portal daily
- Provide daily follow ups with Opposing Counsel and third-party providers to set hearings, depositions, coordinate mediations, and prepare clients for meetings with the attorney
- Complete discovery with client and attorney: interrogatories, requests to produce, etc.
- Communicate specific and accurate information to the attorney, clients, and others
- Organize cases and calendar
- Investigate facts to help in the resolution of legal disputes
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and store client information
- Legal Research
- Process checks
- Other tasks as requested by the firm

- Prior work experience as a litigation assistant/paralegal in civil, Plaintiff’s firm
- Experience working in E-filing portal is required

- Ability to pass a background check
