What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optical Medical Receptionist position at Cohen's Fashion Optical?
We are looking for friendly and organized individuals with great people skills to work as a full/part-time Optical receptionist. Duties include taking patient's medical history, perform all ophthalmic tests, checking patients eligibility, scheduling of appointments. We are looking for someone who provides excellent customer service, has the ability to multi task and is looking for an opportunity to work for a great company.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an Optical office setting, particularly as a receptionist
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient interaction
- Proficiency in medical administrative support and managing medical records
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems
