Test Development, Member of Technical Staff

• Deep understanding of the analog and digital high speed (> 50GHz) electronics concepts.
• Understanding of digital electronics and communication.

Working Conditions

• Working conditions are normal for an open concept office environment and non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
• Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment, carrying out multiple projects at a time.
• Must be able to travel domestically 5% of time and internationally 5% of time.

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to attend scheduled training, follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards. This includes the use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities.

Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently.  They will ensure that risk assessments are performed, proper training, work instructions, required PPE is available, and will monitor compliance.

• Responsible for following the site EHS procedures and the Corporate EHS standards which includes completion of mandatory safety training as assigned.
• ESD garment, wrist strap/ground chord, monitor connection and ESD foot ware are required to work at ESD protected areas.

Quality & Environmental Responsibilities

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
