Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Applying contemporary software solutions and techniques to implement changes and improvements to manufacturing automation and data systems,
- Developing professional skills and knowledge in areas adjacent to software and automation to ensure projects and solutions meet the needs of the manufacturing floor,
- Providing analysis of possible paths to a solution and advising on the best approaches,
- Exercising sound technical judgement,
- Presenting and discussing results with colleagues, and
- Fostering productive professional relationships. Education & Experience
- Applicants must be undergraduate seniors who are scheduled to graduate by December 2024 or May 2025. Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively with others.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Experience with modern programming languages such as Python, C#, .NET, LabView, Unity,
- Experience with SQL or similar databases a plus
- Experience with programmable controller configuration a plus Working Conditions
- Work environment can range from office to lab to manufacturing floor.
- Work involving small to large equipment. Physical Requirements
- Able to perform physical tasks in various positions : standing, crouching, kneeling, reaching
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
