Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
The individual in this role will be the focal point for the organization's software infrastructure and strategy with broad ownership of the organization's software development activities in support of our factory, new products development, and service :
- Manage our software development pipeline and external software development contractors.
- Supervise up to 2 internal developers.
- Interface with corporate IT and other key stakeholders.
- Organize and improve our software testing and release processes.
- Software requirements and architecture synthesis, code reviews, test plans, etc.
- Coding (expected 25-50% of time)
Education & Experience
2 years in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
Skills
Experience using statistical tools (e.g. R, Minitab, etc.)
