We are seeking a hands-on, IT/Engineering professional with a passion for teaching, content development, and technology enablement to join our education team. Our Solutions Learning Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering technical training on Cohesity’s industry-leading data management solutions, with a focus on architecting Cohesity Data Protect and other Cohesity solutions.
This role is specifically for developing courses that cover complex architecture, design principles, and implementation strategies for Cohesity’s products.
We're seeking someone with deep expertise in IT infrastructure, data protection, and enterprise architecture and a proven ability to educate and empower learners to succeed with new technologies.
The position involves creating and delivering instructor-led training (ILT), developing engaging content, and contributing to self-paced eLearning programs. Additionally, it includes hands-on lab development, certification exam creation, and continuous content improvement to keep pace with product advancements.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
Pay Range
$106,800.00-$133,450.00

How You're Spend Your Time Here
- Develop and deliver high-quality instructor-led training (virtual and in-person) on Cohesity Data Protect and related solutions to customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Design and develop course materials that focus on architecting Cohesity solutions, including:
- Infrastructure design for Cohesity Data Protect
- Best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and ransomware protection
- Cohesity’s role in hybrid and multi-cloud architectures
- Advanced security and compliance considerations
- Collaborate with SMEs to define learning objectives and develop technical course content.
- Create technical course materials, including presentations, instructor guides, and eLearning modules.
- Design and implement hands-on labs that reinforce key learning outcomes around Cohesity solution architecture.
- Update and enhance training materials to align with new product features, security enhancements, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to Cohesity certification programs by developing and validating exam questions related to Cohesity Data Protect and architecture.
- Analyze learner feedback to identify areas for course improvement and optimize training effectiveness.
- Support the transition of ILT materials into self-paced, interactive learning content for Cohesity Academy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with expertise in:
- Data management, backup, and disaster recovery architectures
- Cohesity Data Protect and similar enterprise backup solutions
- Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for backup and disaster recovery
- Windows/Linux server administration
- Virtualization, storage, and data protection
- Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Cybersecurity best practices for enterprise backup environments
- Basic understanding of AI-driven data insights, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Generative AI, and their practical applications in IT environments.
- 3 years of experience in technical training, curriculum development, or enablement.
- Experience in designing training focused on enterprise architecture and solution design.
- Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, engaging manner to diverse audiences.
- Experience developing hands-on labs for IT training programs.
- Strong instructional design skills, including eLearning development.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical content clearly.
- Experience in solution architecture design and best practices for large-scale enterprise backup deployments.
- Ability to assess training needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams.
- Travel Requirement: 10-15% (customer training, conferences, internal events).
- Flexible work environment (remote or hybrid options available based on location).
