Job Description: DevOps & Automation Engineer (Network)

Location: Austin, TX

• Position Overview:
  We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps & Automation Engineer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices, automation frameworks, and a strong technical background in networking and Telco cloud solutions.
• You will be responsible for developing, integrating, and optimizing Telco solutions while leveraging your expertise in Jenkins, Python, and JSON.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Design and implement automation scripts and tools using Python and JSON.
• Integrate Telco cloud solutions, including 3G/4G/5G SoC benchmarking, DPDK, SRIOV, and IP routing.
• Optimize security protocols and processes in Telco solutions and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop Telco SoC solutions and benchmark performance.
• Ensure seamless integration of networking technologies in Telco environments.
• Conduct performance analysis, benchmarking, and troubleshooting for cloud and on-premises Telco systems.
• Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using relevant tools and platforms.
• Identify and resolve issues in automation frameworks, ensuring system reliability and scalability.

Required Qualifications:

• 7 Years of Intel Platform Experience: Demonstrated expertise with Intel platforms and Telco solutions.
• Telco Cloud Solution Integration: Proven experience integrating Telco SoCs and deploying 3G/4G/5G technologies.
• Networking Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of DPDK, SRIOV, IP routing, and related networking protocols.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with Python and JSON.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
• Familiarity with benchmarking and performance analysis of Telco SoC solutions.
• Solid understanding of cloud and on-premises Telco security standards and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in complex networking environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, or other IaC tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
