Embedded Linux Consultant / Redmond, WA

Position: Embedded Linux Consultant

Location: Redmond, WA (Day 1 onsite)

Embedded Linux (Prefer on Xilinx platform but can be general on another Microcontroller).

• Hands-on experience in using embedded Linux (Yocto/ OpenEmbedded or buildroot).
• Develop & port embedded Linux applications, custom device drivers, libraries.
• Configure, modify, and integrate the kernel and embedded boot loaders.
• Experience in using U-Boot, Linux kernel configuration and Device tree.
• Experience in custom driver porting and applying patches to legacy packages.
• Development and migration of existing systems to Yocto-based platforms.
• Design and develop the automation to validate the builds in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Maintain and support the Yocto build system in a CI/CD environment, including packaging and deployment of software images.
• Experience in creating images for different hardware platforms.
