Position: Senior GIS Consultant

Location: Remote

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a Senior Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Consultant with extensive expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server and geospatial data management.

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS solution development, enterprise geodatabases, geospatial data analysis and system integrations.

• This role involves working with government agencies, infrastructure projects and enterprise clients to deliver high-quality GIS solutions.

GIS Solution Development:

• Design, implement and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise solutions, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS.

• Develop custom GIS applications using ArcPy, Python, ArcObjects and .NET SDK.

• Create and manage geospatial datasets, enterprise geodatabases and ArcSDE environments.

• Configure and deploy ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcGIS Experience Builder and AppStudio for ArcGIS.

Geospatial Data Management & Analysis:

• Perform spatial analysis, data visualization and geoprocessing for business insights.

• Work with PostgreSQL, RDBMS and spatial databases for efficient geospatial data management.

• Implement geoprocessing services, map services and feature services for GIS applications.

• Support real-time GIS data workflows using Survey123, Field Maps and Quick Capture.

Enterprise GIS Implementation:

• Architect and deploy enterprise GIS infrastructure for government and corporate clients.

• Integrate ArcGIS Hub, ArcGIS Business Analyst and cloud-based GIS solutions.

• Ensure GIS compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate GIS with business applications (SAP, BI, etc.).

Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Advise clients on GIS strategy, implementation and best practices.

• Train end-users and GIS teams on ArcGIS tools and workflows.

• Support project management, risk assessment and resource planning for GIS initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in GIS consulting, development and system integration.

• Expertise in ArcGIS Products (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server).

• Hands-on experience with Python for ArcGIS (ArcPy), ArcObjects and PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of ArcGIS SDK for .NET, geospatial data models and GIS automation.

• Experience with cloud-based GIS platforms (AWS, Azure, Esri Cloud Solutions).

• Strong background in spatial analysis, data visualization and dashboard development.

• Familiarity with Geodata Services, Geoprocessing Services and Feature Services.

• Experience in urban planning, infrastructure, utilities or public sector GIS projects.

• Excellent communication and consulting skills with the ability to manage stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Esri Technical Certifications (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, Python for ArcGIS).

• Experience with machine learning in GIS, AI-driven spatial analysis.

• Background in remote sensing, LiDAR or environmental GIS applications.
