Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced Validation Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX.
• The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Intel platforms, software automation, and validation processes.
• This role focuses on ensuring the quality and performance of 5G software, AI applications, and cloud solutions integrated with telco and other platforms.
• The Validation Engineer will play a critical role in developing and automating test cases, enhancing software architecture, and improving overall system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Intel Platform Expertise:
  • Utilize 7 years of experience working on Intel platforms to optimize performance and validate complex software systems.
• Automation & Optimization:
  • Automate Continuous Integration (CI) processes for 5G software, AI solutions, Kubernetes (K8s), and Gerrit.
  • Optimize performance across networking, switching, and cloud solution integrations for telco and related platforms.
• Quality Assurance and Development:
  • Develop software QA frameworks, including SW integration, builds, tools, and automation frameworks for RANS-supported products.
  • Create and execute test plans for subsystem and system-level Wireless BTS validation.
• Test Development:
  • Design, develop, execute, and debug test cases specific to customer requirements.
  • Implement tests across various platforms and automate them to be included in regression testing.
• Software and Framework Enhancement:
  • Enhance the overall software architecture, control flow, and data flow for supported product lines.
  • Tuning GRR (General Rate Response) and PMR (Performance Monitoring Reports) to improve product efficiency.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and validate RANS software products.
  • Ensure customer-specific requirements are met with precision and high-quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of experience with Intel platforms and associated technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in automation for CI processes, including Python scripting, BIOS configurations, and data analytics.
• Proven experience with 5G software, AI integration, Kubernetes (K8s), and Gerrit.
• Strong knowledge of networking, switching, and cloud solution integration for telco platforms.
• Experience in developing QA/DevOps frameworks for integration and validation of RANS software products.
• Proficiency in designing and automating customer-specific test cases and writing comprehensive test plans.
• Solid understanding of wireless base station software development and validation.

Preferred Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with other automation tools.
• Experience with system validation for wireless BTS platforms.
• Proven ability to enhance software architecture for better performance and control flow.
• Knowledge of regression testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
