We currently have an exciting career opportunity in our Government and Public Sector Advisory team for a Florida State and Local Government Market Leader Directorbased out of our Tallahassee office in a hybrid capacity.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. This position will support CohnReznick's Government and Public Sector Advisory practice. This group is highly experienced and specially trained in the operations, processes, regulations, and reporting requirements of public entities. We are passionate about helping our government and public sector clients overcome challenges and build stronger communities and we have positions available for driven professionals who share our passion to make a difference. We are seeking a well-regarded and highly respected professional to oversee our Florida State and Local Government operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the government landscape in Florida, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of helping government agencies achieve their missions and solving their most pressing problems.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Market Strategy Development: Work with the Partner Group and other Business Line Leaders to develop and implement strategic plans to expand our presence in the Florida state and local government market.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials and stakeholders.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including RFPs, partnerships, and collaborations.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Help drive a culture of continuous learning by providing insights and feedback to grow and develop staff.
• Project Oversight: Ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting client expectations and company standards.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
• Budget Management: Oversee budget planning and financial performance for the market segment.
  
  

Your Experience.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in government consulting, business development, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the Florida state and local government landscape.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans to successful outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
