We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a People & Culture Field Specialist to join the People & Culture team in our National P&C practice. This role can sit near any of our locations in the Eastern or Central time zone.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
- Creating an extraordinary employee experience for team members by serving as a trusted business partner to ensure HR strategies are aligned to support the business strategies and objectives.
- Gather feedback from employees supported on ways to enhance the employee experience through various channels including pulse surveys, check ins, and building trusting relationships that enable employees to share their feedback.
- Establish thorough understanding of the business, build and expand relationships with client leadership teams, and create close partnerships across People & Culture (P&C), and Centers of Excellence (COEs).
- Take time understanding the client bases in detail for the offices supported to understand the gaps and challenges, allowing a space to be created that enables proactive solutioning.
- Build strong relationships with all employees supported, gather feedback/concerns and relay where appropriate to Leaders and P&C Manager. Includes coordinating & being an active participant in employee engagement/morale events, as well as responding to employee inquiries (including conducting 30/80/180 day onboarding follow up interviews).
- Bring forth to the COEs the voice of team members and partner with the COEs to bring solutions.
- Provide end-to-end onboarding and offboarding support to include facilitating New Employee Orientation and conducting exit interviews.
- Host local P&C onboarding sessions, develop orientation agendas and schedule meetings, identify technical and local training needs and coordinate, conduct exit interviews for departing employees (split up with P&C Managers) and consolidating information gathered and suggest areas where immediate follow up or action is needed.
- Assist P&C Manager and Talent Acquisition to drive and implement the recruiting strategy in the business; participate in interviews; identify interviewing teams.
- Build strong relationships with lateral and campus recruiting teams, provide input on recruiting needs, help identify ideal candidate profiles, participate in debriefs and interviews where appropriate.
- Assist Talent Management COE on various programs and initiatives and implement for the national team members.
- Assist with administering compensation program, under guidance from the Total Rewards COE, obtaining appropriate review and approvals, while meeting firm deadlines, under guidance of P&C Director.
- Work with P&C Manager and Department Heads to deliver compensation sheets, gather bonus recommendations, do ad hoc reporting as needed.
- Coordinate the annual performance review cycle data, and all areas related to performance management under the guidance of P&C Manager/Director.
- Take notes in performance roundtables with P&C Managers– includes consistently reading evaluations throughout the year, monitoring goals, having strong pulse of performance issues and bringing to P&C Managers for those that require action.
- Provide coaching and guidance regarding HR in areas such as policy and procedure while developing trusting relationships with leadership and employees. Includes managing less complex employee relations issues, escalating to P&C Manager/Director when appropriate.
- Analyze data in support of P&C internal client partnering to business leaders.
- Contribute to regional/national projects and process improvements.
- Ad hoc projects as requested
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field required, PHR/SHRM-CP highly preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of HR generalist experience with progressive experience; professional services industry experience preferred.
- Ability to build effective partnerships with leadership and employees
- Ability to effectively manage change, being flexible and adaptable as required by the business
- Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience supporting clients and administering employment regulations across multiple states is preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient MS Office skills to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and ability handle and document sensitive situations.
- Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Business acumen or ability to quickly acquire business knowledge
- Strong analytical skills to identify business trends and drive initiatives.
- Ability to travel 1 day a week to nearest CohnReznick office
