We currently have an exciting career opportunity in our Information Technology team for an SAP IT Advanced Engineer.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR ROLE.
SAP IT Advanced Engineer will serve as our subject matter expert on all things SAP and its related products (e.g., Replicon, Concur, etc.). They will be a part of a virtual team supporting our deployment of SAP S/4HANA Cloud and its associated products globally. They will work with vendors, contractor resources, and internal team members to do this work, and support all of them when needed. They must be extremely knowledgeable in the use and implementation of SAP, be familiar with financial processes, and be committed to constant learning and personal development.
This person will be working directly with leadership across the firm and will be a liaison between the technology and finance departments. This person will provide guidance, best practices, and insights into the use of SAP and an informed opinion when discussing solutions with 3rd parties.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Collaborate With Key Partners:
- Liaison and partnership with the business (Finance)
- Liaison to vendors and contractor resources to support tech stack within assigned area
- Drive Managed Services on Upgrades/Releases, project planning, performance and reliability, and other activities, including regression testing
- Lead business combination integrations into SAP S/4Hana Public Cloud
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors
- Partner with the business units on requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
- Direct resource allocation and planning with project management teams
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the products, services, and the application workings across all parts of the SAP ecosystem
- Keep up to date on the accountable products/component/applications, their latest changes deployed, and any upcoming changes in the pipeline
- Support and verify the current functionality in production
- Support and verify the deployment of new functionality
- Monitor interfaces and application components
- Provide guidance on how to service support tickets and coordinate as needed to resolve issues or incidents reported
- Lead root cause analysis
- Recommend best practices or improvements in current product or in the area of ownership for better support or user experience
- Be a part of the on-call support during releases/deployments and external coverage
- Configure Application Extensions
- Contribute to, review, and maintain process and system documentation; this includes documenting business processes, technical processes, integrations, software specific documents and knowledge base articles
- Drive the effort to create a disaster recovery and risk mitigation plan
- Perform system administration functions in systems to control access using the least rights methodology for role access
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as the IT Application SME
- Serve as backup to other team members to backfill during peak periods, PTO, etc.
- Establish guidelines for resource allocation and utilization
- Create and maintain documentation and audit trails on the systems
- Create standardized templates and documentation
- Identify where we can benefit from automation
- Implement proactive, preventive, and reactive maintenance measures
- Support business process change
- Implement tools and systems to streamline operations
- Monitor and optimize resource utilization
- Drive processes for evaluating and onboarding new technical and technology resources
- Monitor market trends to identify emerging vendors, technologies, and strategies that could benefit the organization
- Identify and implement processes for tracking and reporting cost savings
- Establish continuous improvement processes for SAP operations
- Managing SAP, Billing, Bulk Billing, WIP Editor, Replicon, Concur, all ancillary systems associated in the ServiceNOW queues in partnership with a member of the Finance team.
- Ensuring daily updates, communicating timelines, and obtaining root cause analysis on tickets.
- Develop Knowledge Base Articles (Troubleshooting Guides) for known errors and their resolutions by identifying common trends and communicate to the Service Desk and Project Ascend Mailbox Team.
- Provide expertise on the way APIs (and other approaches towards integration) in SAP are best performed
- Liaison with Finance and vendor counterparts for all inquiries and Service Desk Tickets while providing RCA, ETA, Status updates, and ticket updates; manage the day-to-day meetings and tasks with the vendors.
- Monitor and audit SAP FUE Licenses on a quarterly basis as well as when the threshold has 20 remaining licenses.
- Provision Billing Management Solution Access and specialized SAP access to the Vendors after the approval process.
- Liaison between the Finance team and AMS vendor for SAP Upgrades every August and February.
- Responsible for completing SAP Certificate Renewal Process on a regular cadence and facilitate the process with the required vendors.
- Monitor, maintain, and coordinate for integration failures.
- Stay up to date with existing training and take additional SAP Training to advance as an SAP and/or Ancillary system administrator.
The successful candidate will have:
Education
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- SAP Certified Professional - Financials in SAP S/4HANA for SAP ERP Finance Experts
- SAP Certified Specialist - Implementation Consultant - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition
- SAP Certified Specialist - SAP BW/4HANA Delta
- SAP Certified Specialist - SAP S/4HANA Conversion and SAP System Upgrade
- SAP Certified Associate - Implementation Consultant - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Financial Accounting
- 8 years of experience in technology support, with at least 5 years focusing on SAP/ERP solutions
- Experience with SAP BTP
- Experience with ERP systems and automation tools
- Understanding of technology products, services, and market trends
- Demonstrated ability to build and work in a high-performing team, with a focus on mentorship, talent development, and fostering a collaborative culture
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, across multiple departments, and build consensus around complex ERP initiatives
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a demonstrated capacity for innovative problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
