We currently have an exciting career opportunity in our Information Technology team for an SAP Specialist.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

SAP Specialist will be a liaison between the technology and finance departments supporting our deployment of SAP S/4HANA Cloud and its associated products. They will work with vendors, contractor resources, and internal team members to do this work and support all of them as needed. This person will be a member of a virtual team supporting SAP globally. They should be knowledgeable in the use and implementation of SAP, be familiar with financial processes, and be committed to constant learning & personal development.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Collaborate With Key Partners:
- Liaison and partnership with the business (Finance)
- Liaison to vendors and contractor resources to support tech stack within assigned area
- Coordinate with Managed Services on Upgrades/Releases, project planning, performance and reliability, and other activities, including regression testing
- Maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors
- Be aware of the products and services of the app workings within the assigned area of ownership
- Keep up to date on the accountable product or component or the app with latest changes deployed and changes in the pipeline
- Support the SAP team and ensure that all open tasks are addressed and closed once the user is satisfied
- Service support tickets related to assigned area of ownership with consultation and coordination as needed to resolve issues or incidents reported
- Be a part of the on-call support during releases/deployments and external coverage
- Contribute to and maintain process and system documentation; this includes documenting business processes, technical processes, integrations, software specific documents and knowledge base articles
- Contribute to a disaster recovery and risk mitigation planning
- Perform system administration functions in systems to control access using the least rights methodology for role access
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as the IT Application SME
- Serve as backup to other team members to backfill during peak periods, PTO, etc.
- Create and maintain documentation and audit trails on the systems
- Create standardized templates and documentation
- Look for opportunities to automate manual processes as much as possible
- Implement proactive, preventive, and reactive maintenance measures
- Support business process change
- Monitor and optimize resource utilization
- Contribute to processes for evaluating and onboarding new technical and technology resources
- Track and report cost savings
- Establish continuous improvement processes for SAP operations
- Managing SAP, Billing, Bulk Billing, WIP Editor, Replicon, Concur, all ancillary systems associated in the ServiceNOW queues in partnership with a member of the Finance team.
- Ensuring daily updates, communicating timelines, and obtaining root cause analysis on tickets.
- Develop Knowledge Base Articles (Troubleshooting Guides) for known errors and their resolutions by identifying common trends and communicate to the Service Desk and Project Ascend Mailbox Team.
- Liaison with Finance and vendor counterparts for all inquiries and Service Desk Tickets while providing RCA, ETA, Status updates, and ticket updates; manage the day-to-day meetings and tasks with the vendors.
- Monitor and audit SAP FUE Licenses on a quarterly basis as well as when the threshold has 20 remaining licenses.
- Provision Billing Management Solution Access and specialized SAP access to the Vendors after the approval process.
- Liaison between the Finance team and AMS vendor for SAP Upgrades every August and February.
- Responsible for completing SAP Certificate Renewal Process on a regular cadence and facilitate the process with the required vendors.
- Monitor, maintain, and coordinate for integration failures.
- Stay up to date with existing training and take additional SAP Training to advance as an SAP and/or Ancillary system administrator.
The successful candidate will have:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field; or 1 year equivalent experience may be substituted for each year earned towards a Bachelor’s degree.
- SAP Certified Specialist - Implementation Consultant - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition
- SAP Certified Associate - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Financial Accounting
- 3 years of experience in technology support, with at least 3 years focusing on SAP/ERP solutions
- Experience with ERP systems and automation tools
- Understanding of technology products, services, and market trends
- Demonstrated ability to build and work in a high-performing team, with a focus on mentorship, talent development, and fostering a collaborative culture
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a demonstrated capacity for innovative problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Project management and organizational capabilities
